Session 3: Life and its Origin — Scientific and Spiritual Perspective Sub-Topics:
Speaker: Dr. K. SASI KUMAR Dr. K. Sasi Kumar did his masters degree in Genetics from Osmania University. Later he pursued his PhD degree in Cell biology from Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology ( CCMB ), Hyderabad. CCMB is a premier research organization in frontier areas of modern biology. During his PhD he worked on Chronic Myeloid Leukemia and he also worked on Skeletal Muscle Differentation. His research work was published in peer-reviewed international journals. After his completion of PhD, he joined as National Postdoctoral Fellow in Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad. Presently he is working on Insulin Resistance which causes type 2 diabetes. |
